Le Clos Violette d’Aglaé, 50 meters from the heart of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, is a jewel of history. The house bears the first medieval fleur-de-lys, and its southern facade retains a cross as well as the framing of 15th-century windows.
These are strong historical moments very representative of the evolution of the town of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. A stone’s throw from the collegiate church, at the corner of Pasteur and Denfert Rochereau street.
Le Clos Violette d’Aglaé stands on 3 levels in the middle of these old streets where antique dealers, designers, grocery stores, markets, and restaurants once mingled. Its architecture reflects the historical mix of the Sorgue river and its water wheels. We hope to welcome you very soon in this place which has been restored to its splendour and tranquillity.
